Milton
E. Lopes is the Founder and Director of Living
in the Spirit. He is the Spiritual Director and
Life Coach.
He has more than thirty-five years
of academic, government, consulting
and corporate experience. Before
becoming a Life Coach and Spiritual
Director, he taught in several
colleges and universities, held a
high level federal government post
and worked in the banking,
investment and insurance
industries. He is currently a
consultant and a Professor of Human
and Organization Development at
Fielding Graduate University in
Santa Barbara, California. His Ph.D.
is in Public Policy and
Administration which he earned at
Virginia Polytechnic |

Institute and State University.
He has several years of spiritual
formation which includes more than a
decade as a Lay Cistercian
affiliated with the Trappist
Monastery of the Holy Spirit in
Conyers, GA. and certification as a
Spiritual Director from the Mt.
Carmel Spiritual Centre in Niagara
Falls, Ontario, Canada and the Haden
Institute in Hendersonville, North
Carolina. He is a member of
Spiritual Directors International, a
network of spiritual directors from
around the world. He also holds a
certificate in Coaching from the
Coach Training Institute in San
Rafael, CA. |
